A re-release of two important archive recordings. The Howells component is taken from George Guest's final recording with St John's entitled The Sound of St John's while the Duruflé tracks are taken from Christopher Robinson's disc of his complete choral works. Both were recorded under the Nimbus label and are now released as a double from Portrait Classics. This view of the Bridge of Sighs in St John's is one which the Choristers see every day on their walk in to College for Evensong.
