Chapel Services

The Choir of St John's College can be heard in the College Chapel every day in University full term except Mondays (Monday Services are sung by St John's Voices).

The daily pattern of services is as follows:

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday - Choral Evensong 6.30 p.m (full choir)

Wednesday - Choral Evensong 6.30 p.m (men's voices)

Sunday - Sung Eucharist 10.30 a.m (full choir)

Joanna Ward

On Thursday 26 October, the Choir performed the first commission of the term: 'The Banquet' by undergraduate Joanna Ward. The piece featured men's voices and a double bass, played by Joe Cowie, and it was funded with generous support from Paul & Joanna Lindsell and Jeremy & Jodie Podger.
