The Choir is known to millions through its many recordings. Its impressive discography, which includes nearly 100 discs* which date back to its first recording in 1958, spans centuries of composition, and this breadth continues with the recent recordings of Mozart, Purcell, Wesley, and Harvey, all being released to much acclaim. (*This number does not include re-releases).

SJC Live is an extensive archive of recordings taken from the Choir's live performances. You can search for particular tracks by their category, composer and more, and listen to them online whenever and wherever you like.

Joanna Ward

On Thursday 26 October, the Choir performed the first commission of the term: 'The Banquet' by undergraduate Joanna Ward. The piece featured men's voices and a double bass, played by Joe Cowie, and it was funded with generous support from Paul & Joanna Lindsell and Jeremy & Jodie Podger.
