Fauré and Duruflé Requiems
Recorded under the legendary George Guest (Director of Music at St John's for four decades) back in the 1970s, this CD contains both the Durufle and Faure Requiems.
Durufle: Complete Choral Works
Duruflé has deservedly earned a special place in 20th century French music. A perfectionist with a small repertoire, he was deeply committed to the plainsong liturgy - it was the lifeblood of nearly all his works and his source of musical and spiritual inspiration.
