06 July 2019 - Evensong with Electronics

Recorded on

David Nunn's Sitivit anima mea was composed for the College Choir in 2018. David is a recent graduate of the University of Cambridge and is studying for an MMus in Composition at the Royal Academy of Music. He says of Sitivit anima mea:

"My aim with this piece was to create an immersive environment. The electronics are entirely composed of water samples and pure sine waves, which are combined with freely-chanted text. My hope is that the resultant texture alludes to a God who is at once transcendent and immanent."
