This men's voices service features a canticles setting by a former member of the choir, Piers Connor Kennedy. The setting was originally written for Worcester Cathedral Choir, and Kennedy makes use of intricate harmonies and a solid low bass line. The anthem in this service is by the twentieth century German composer Franz Biebl who originally wrote the piece for a parish choir in his hometown of Fürstenfeldbruck.
