This week's webcast is the service held in memory of the fallen of both World Wars and all subsequent conflicts. The Choir sings Fauré's beautiful setting of the Requiem; some composers choose to represent the Requiem text by portraying the terror and pain of the day of judgement, but Fauré's setting emphasises the relationship we have with those that have passed and the beauty of their crossing into Heaven.
