Choir Releases

New Millennium

The Choir is known to millions of listeners across the globe through its impressive catalogue of over 100 recordings. Since its first release in 1959, the Choir's output has spanned centuries of musical composition and received critical acclaim under successive Directors of Music.

In 2016, the College launched its very own 'St John's Cambridge' label in partnership with Signum Records. The label releases brand new recordings by the Choir of St John's as well as students and alumni of the College.

The label has received critical acclaim, receiving a BBC Music Magazine Award in 2017 for its debut release, DEO. The Choir's latest recording - New Millennium - is a collection of contemporary choral and organ works all by living composers, many of which were commissioned especially for the choir.
